Rat Says: I don’t care if they are fake conservatives or fake liberals, the more these mainstream pundits criticize Sarah Palin the more it reinforces my thoughts that she might just be a decent person and not bought off by the Oligarchs. This is smelling more and more like a bait and switch for Lieberman. Noonan is a hack, she is the old guard …. we need the new (point)guard.
I know I am becoming too cynical for my own good, but I would love to know how this ‘off air’ .. ‘off the record’ audio was leaked out.

MM: You know what’ sreally the worst thing about it? The greatness of McCain is no cynicism, and this is cynical.

When Alex Jones confronted Hot Air blogger & Fox News correspondent Michelle Malkin on her support for the war, for torture and for her promotion of internment camps for Americans– people in the crowd fought back, setting Jones up to look as though he was calling for Malkin’s death.
The MSM and several blogs then ran with the false report– but close video analysis reveals the culprits and exposes the Malkin allies who tried to report the false incident to police.
Yes, Alex got loud– but its the ideas that are the enemy– and freedom must be defended even at the price of polite manners. And make no mistake– internment camps, torture and defense of murder IS NOT FREEDOM!
Rat Says: As I awakened Friday morning, the day of McCain’s announcement of VP selection, I had an uneasy feeling upon reading Palin’s name mentioned. I kept thinking that the Neocons wanted Lieberman and somehow the media was getting it wrong. As the day’s events unfolded and the choice became official I conceded that I was wrong. My concession lasted till that evening when the leftists started their campaign to Demonize Sarah Palin.
The first out of the gate was Rachel Maddow and her dramatic Palin/Texas baby delivery story. She was aghast that a mother could leak fluid and get on a plane. Other pundits are analyzing issues and positions and Rachel is beginning the baby smears. It wasn’t until the next day (Saturday) that the serious accusations would flow starting with the leftist blog Daily Kos. They sent the ‘Bristol mother of Trig’ story viral on the social networks. Accusations of removed photos from Alaskan government web sites added to the hysteria.
In all my years of observing politics I had never witnessed anyone attacked so quickly and aggressively, as was occuring with ‘Operation Demonize Palin.’ Meanwhile, video of a drunk Joe Biden is going unnoticed? Something ain’t right! Talking points are making the rounds on the corrupt media cable news stations such as ‘didn’t vet her’ and ‘no experience’ while they are letting the socialist blogs destroy her with unfounded rumors about babies. Paul Begala and James Carville are beside themselves as to how appalling this choice is …..you would think she had raped Juanita Broaddrick or smoked crack and toured Chicago in a limo with Larry Sinclair.
A glaring omission from the media both mainstream and leftist blogger, was the ‘other side’ to Trooper Gate. The media pundits would all mention that the Alaskan Governor was under investigation for corruption back in her home state, this was parroted exponentially by the leftist bloggers. What 90% failed to mention is that the ex-brother-in-law that was at the center of the controversy, threatened that Sarah’s father would ‘eat lead’ if he hired a lawyer for his daughter (Sarah’s sister). I wonder if Mr Wooten’s (Sarah’s ex in-law) multiple ex-wives have similar stories to share?
This morning as expected I see the blogs and news services opining on the timing of when Sarah will resign:
If McCain had tried to bring in Lieberman initially the Neocons knew the delegates would have revolted, with the Ron Paul delegates leading the charge. Anyone that thinks Sarah Palin wasn’t fully vetted, I’ve got some Iraqi WMDs to sell you. If Operation Demonize Palin turns out to be a Neocon scheme to insert Joe Lieberman in as Vice President we need to expose this Trojan Horse and send them a box of Saakashvili ties.
