Liesman cringes when Santelli brings up the issue of solvency …personally I think things are worse than Rick does. The Fed normally would raise rates to protect the dollar, but that is something you do when the economy is firing on all cylinders. These pit traders think the Fed will continue to do nothing or maybe even ease, which would take out more of the investment banks.
The banks really screwed the pooch on this one, they are trying to tread water till another staged geopolitical event, then they can blame a collapse on it.
