Are the Democrats Going to Keep Their Word?
The Democrats, during the 2006 Congressional elections, promised the American people that if they won control of the U.S. Congress that they would end the Iraq War. The voters trusted them. And, the Democrats did, in 2007, take control of the Congress.
When, if ever, are the Democrats going to keep their word? As of June 27, 2008, 4,113 U.S. troops have died in the Iraq War. The cost of the conflict to the American taxpayers is estimated at $3 trillion. William Hughes
Rat Says: William, this is a very good question. I posted some videos just after the 2006 elections with the theme, “Meet the New Boss, Same as the Old Boss” and that is precisely what we got. Last I heard Obama supported leaving 40 to 80 thousand troops in Iraq for peace keeping purposes. We call this OCCUPATION. He also wants to bomb Pakistan and is talking tough with Iran. His handlers, i.e. Brzezinski and Soros scare the hell out of me. When will the Democrats wake up?
