The majority of supporters has evolved from former conservatives fed up with the selling out of their own republican party. This is a frequent smear attempt by Neocons who can actually trace their roots to socialistic Trotskyites. Of note, Sean didn’t seem to have a problem with republicans crossing party lines to vote democrat, in order to ouster Cynthia McKinney who was one of the first elected officials to seek out 9/11 truth.
