EDIT: 1:29 EDT 5/23/07 Insiders say ABC has cancelled the Loose Change segment scheduled for Thursday’s (5/24) show. Stay tuned.
According to a release from ABC, Korey Rowe and Dylan Avery, creators of the 9/11 conspiracy documentary Loose Change will appear on the May 24th show. Also listed is William Rodriguez, who was a janitor at the North Tower of the World Trade Center, who has since become part of the 9/11 truth movement. The only other guests listed for that date are the winners of Dancing With the Stars, so it appears that the show will not have representatives from both sides of the topic. Rosie O’Donnell has said before that we have been hearing the other side for years, so maybe the show will only cover the topic from one angle. However, since the show line-up often goes through changes before the show is taped, it is possible that they might be adding additional guests. It is also possible that they might have the other side in another segment on a different day. www.watchingtheview.com
Rat Says: John Gibson freely admits he is stunned that “Truth” comes up in the republican debate. Whats even better is that Michelle Malkin not only agrees with him, but goes further and states it “doesn’t belong there.” She then attempts to ostracize Ron Paul and claim he doesn’t belong with the Republicans, when in fact he holds more similarities to the fathers of the GOP than all of the corporate shill candidates that she endorses.
She invokes the all too trite “tin foil hat” and “conspiracy nut” smears against anyone that dare question the government miscreants. Then she endorses the now thoroughly debunked Popular Mechanics hit piece that was financed by the neocons and has family ties to Homeland Security head Michael Chertoff.
Michigan GOP leader seeks to block candidate from presidential debates
AP
Columbia, SC - The chairman of the Michigan Republican Party says he’ll try to bar Texas congressman Ron Paul from future GOP presidential debates.
Saul Anuzis is upset with Paul for remarks that suggested the September 11, 2001, attacks were the fault of U.S. foreign policy.
Paul drew attacks from all sides at last night’s Republican debate. The harshest criticism came from former New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani when Paul linked the terror attacks to U.S. military action against Iraq.
Anuzis says he’ll circulate a petition among Republican National Committee members to ban Paul from more debates. He’ll also ask debate sponsors and broadcasters to exclude Paul.
Rat Says: “Blitz Wolfer” interviews Ron Paul on CNN and tries to paint him as “out of touch” on the reasons for 9/11. Sorry Wolfie, the facts line up with the Doctor on this one. Ron Paul calmly defines the argument and asks for an apology from Rudy Giuliani for his erroneous accusations from the previous night’s debate. What is disgusting is CNN running a banner (3:35 into the clip) beneath Ron Paul reading, “BLAMING THE U.S. FOR 9/11.” This is precisely the slander that Rudy tried to pin on the good Doctor during the debate. It appears CNN is no better than Fox News/Rudy Giuliani. Both the CIA and the 9/11 Commission Report back Paul 100%.
