Simpsons, 9/11 Truthers?
Ah yes, Americans just love those whacky Simpsons, something for the whole family. With those clever writers from Yale with their hidden meanings peppered throughout each episode. They mock good old fashioned values and they all have a nice chuckle downing their lattes at their favorite little trendy cafe`. As we see in this clip they sneak in “Jeremiah’s Johnson” and “The Godfather’s Parts.” HA HA, they are just smarter than us.
Oh wait, what is this? Little Lisa ( 1:30 into the clip) and her “Super Sitter” bus fare? $9 from Illinois to NYC, wow what a deal. Hmmmmm, the towers look like an ELEVEN. 9 ELEVEN… in NYC? Bus fare only 9 dollars? How odd? Well, nothing to see here folks move along. Enjoy that bumbling good hearted Homer and his antics. Good work Fox!

Later in this same episode (produced in 1997!) Homer is sitting in front of the World Trade Center where Barney the drunk has illegally parked the Simpsons’ car. (The car was booted and the Simpsons came to New York to rescue it.) Homer is calculating how many hours he must wait until a parking official comes to remove the boot. If you listen closely he says “9 .. 11 .. 12 ..1″ He does NOT say “9-10-11.” He says “9-11.”
Together with the bus flyer that makes TWO subtle examples of “9/11″ in a Simpsons episode aired almost four years before 9/11.
Don’t tell me it was just muslims with box cutters, folks. Somebody put those clues in on purpose.
