“A world-famous British scientist failed to disclose that he held a paid consultancy with a chemical company for more than 20 years while investigating cancer risks in the industry, the Guardian can reveal. Sir Richard Doll, the celebrated epidemiologist who established that smoking causes lung cancer, was receiving a consultancy fee of $1,500 a day in the mid-1980s from Monsanto, then a major chemical company and now better known for its GM crops business……….” for full article.
Let’s see, Monsanto is credited for agent orange, aspartame, GM food crops, bovine growth hormone Prosilac, and calls war criminal Rumsfeld one of it’s own. Now we see they secretly fund scientist, some $1500 a day, and parade them about without any type of disclosure of “conflict of interest.”
Came across these interesting little clips from youtube/hobbitfan. It exposes Fox News trying to bribe and/or threaten real journalist. I have a new slogan for Fox news, “We Report, You Laugh!!!” Got milk?
