Rush opines that Bush is a liberal appeaser and will embrace the newly elected Democrats and their amnesty program for illegal aliens. He also says he is relieved not to “carry the water” for those that don’t deserve it. I wonder who he is talking about. Just remember the Bush administration was never conservative but neither is Rush. There is only one true conservative Republican in D.C. and that is Ron Paul from Texas. Rush’s Audio

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld, the face of U.S. war policy and a lightning rod for critics worldwide, will not be forced out just because he faces a tougher time from resurgent Democrats.
But voters’ repudiation of the Iraq war might cause President George W. Bush to decide life would be easier without Rumsfeld around. Some insiders and analysts believe that could happen, despite Bush’s declaration last week that he planned to keep Rumsfeld in the job….. full article: http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2006/11/08/AR2006110800894.html
As one peruses the post election blogs November 8th, it is evident that the Democrats are giddy over their electoral success. They anticipate new social programs on the horizon and the end of a Neocon power festival. These bloggers have deluded themselves to think they are responsible for the shift in power. They can not conceive that the media globalist orchestrated this political reversal.
In their world, the collapse of the Republicans and the many coincidental scandals were just “dumb luck,” and were a blessing from above. From Weldon’s FBI investigation, Rush’s “Fox faking it” comments, Haggard’s religious meltdown, Allen’s macaca gaffe, and Foley’s follies, the mainstream media bombarded the public with back to back to back scandals. The Neocon’s well timed, back stabbing and abandonment, was the icing on the cake just days before the election.
What the Democrat bloggers need to recognize is that many of their elected faithful gave the neocons carte blanche in the lead up to war and were deathly silent on such issues as 9/11, the “Patriot Act” and most recently the “Torture Bill.” Pelosi has already taken impeachment off the table, and the Bush cabal has attempted to legislate their way out of future war crimes prosecution. Roger summed it up best, “Meet the new boss, Same as the old boss.”
