This is the best example of the failed “right/left” paradigm I could bring to light. The Dixie Chicks were singled out and demonized on the eve of the Iraq War, not just by the Republicans but also the “liberal” media.  The so called left wing media wanted war so badly they could taste it and they did nothing to help the Chicks when speaking out was considered being a traitor. Now we have the bandwagon effect beginning and the left is parading the Chicks out again and have even made this well timed movie. wink wink (in theaters oct 27th NY and LA,  everywhere november)  

I applaud the gals for speaking out and look forward to their movie, but I hope people see this for what it is:  a choreographed, well timed, staged show that started one evening in spring of 03. Bottomline, when the old media wants war they support the republicans and when they want socialism they support the democrats. I opine that we get ready for Hillary and the advent of social programs that will make FDR roll around in his tomb.
